Yeah, Halo 3 ads (TV ads anyway) didn't start until about a month before the game came out I think...there's NO reason Nintendo should air ads until Feb.
Because if you air an ad 3 months before a game actually comes out, the casuals or uninformed will walk into a store, saying they saw ads on TV for a game, and then the game's not out yet.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
