I think you're implying I was boasting about games selling 300K - 500K. Those kind of sales are respectable for 3rd party Kinect games with no or very little marketing. Those kind of numbers have encouraged developers to keep supporting Kinect with games designed for the hardware. However, a Move required game hitting 300K is a much more difficult feat. Even 1st party games struggle to do it. A poor selling Kinect title is the average performance of a Move title.

Now what's my point? The Kinect and Move ultimately had the two same goals. 1) Bring in casual audiences 2) Sell software. Move didn't do either very well and sales dropped fast. I assure you Sony's goal with this peripheral was not to sell a bunch at launch and then disappear. Making some money doesn't mean it a hit, because it clearly wasn't enough for Sony to really keep pushing. Now its just there like any random peripheral.

im pretty sure they care mostly about profit. which is what they got with Move.  @Link or your wrong, show me where Sonyb said that. Cause what I read is that it sold better than they thought, unless you think Sony is lying and im more inclined to believe them than what some guy on the internet says.  There not really pushing it??? There are two different bundles coming and 4 first party titles coming, what more do you want? By that logic we can say that MS is not nonKinect titles since they dont have anything coming down the pipe that is not Kinect related

Hmmm... the Everybody Dance bundle is one. I'm guessing the Eyepet sequel is the other? Oh boy, Move is gonna be flying off the shelves now.

Sony never admits their failures. They spin everything as a success and Move is no exception.
