i just can speak for myself. i bought arkham asylum one year after release because i din't expect so much even with the good scores. now i know how brilliant it is and arkham city is a release purchase and otherwise ac isn't so brilliant anymore for me since i know batman (yeah not exactly the same games i know) and this will be the one year after release purchase for me. batman deserves my money more.
