AMD only really had one architecture that was superior to Intel's offerings at the same time period. Otherwise, they've always done well when it comes to price/performace ratio. I'm kinda hoping that that's the case with this one but I didn't think any official benchmarks had been released yet (the AMD marketing pics don't count 
).
