Haven't found a video with that (it's hardly something anyone wants to prove, since it isn't a strategy), but here's a link for Smogon detailing what Perish Song does: http://www.smogon.com/dp/moves/perish_song 

This is the best I can do. If your friend still isn't convinced then there's nothing you can do to convince him otherwise other than to show him directly in the game.
