It depends on the context. If you're comparing the Wii and the PS3's library. It's fair to use a game like Assassin's Creed as an exclusive for the PS3 even though it's on other consoles. However, if you're comparing all consoles, then no, a game released on the PC & 360 is not exclusive. And by 'released', I mean the publisher actively released the game on PC with all the features of the 360 version. In your case, what were you comparing? The PS3 & the 360, right? I don't see a problem with using the word 'exclusive' to represent a game like SC: Conviction (was this the game you were talking about) as an exclusive over the PS3. Well, that's my opinion at least. |
That's exactly how I feel, and the only reason this whole debate came up was because someone sad Gears 3 is the only 360 exclusive they like, when they neglected all the 360/PC gams as exclusive.
I'm only defending my claim that even though many exclusive 360 games are available for PC, they are still exclusives and should still be considered so. The PC gaming audience is different from the console audience, I would imagine tha most PC or consale gamers don't tap too much into the other, and from the people I know in real life, most of the time this is the case. (except for those who pirate games).
I agree with you 100%, I get into way too many stupid debates.
