Oh I don't really use VGC data for PC sales. Most PC gamers buy off Steam.

Still price is relevant, how can you consider a PC as something that overthrows exclusivity if the price of the system were 5-10 more?

Also piracy, like I said. Any console game is playable on PC, legally too (You are not required to play console games on a console, but you forfit any warrenty and online service by choosing to play the game on PC). So How is any game exclusive then?

1. Steam doesn't release data for sales.

2. Why not? PS3 was insanely expensive over here when it released but that still counted.

3. I don't think PS3/360 games are playable on PC (for now...)

1. Ocassionally developers will state that they have sold x many copies. I say steam because steam is the largest distributor of digital sales.

2. 360 and PS3 were still much cheaper then a similar spec PC when they released. It's just a different market. Also 3 is a big reason too.

3. Windows 8 will be able to play X-Box 360 disks (so I hear), and there are systems which which you can download which will read a 360 or PS3 disk and play it. However for PS3 you need a Blu-Ray drive.  So if windows 8 plays 360 disks, are 360 games all together no longer exclusive?

A PC to me is not a gaming console. it's a computer which can be used to play PC games, or if manipulated console games. So it makes sense to look at 360/PC games as exclusives as they are exclusive console games on the 360.

As for your other point, I agree with you, but at the same time there is not much reason to own a PC if you have a 360 and PS3, which combined are cheaper then a decent PC.
