Braid creator has heard Wii U "has a lot more RAM"

Yeah it's gonna be a minimum of  1GB of RAM for the Wii-U in order for it to utilize the capabilities of the CPU and GPU of the Wii-U console.  The wild card here is what/how much RAM and what CPU and GPU is Nintendo gonna use to run their tablet controller!?  They may be able to use a modified and boosted version of the 3DS' ARM11 and PICA200 to cut cost but we just don't know at this point.

The Wii U controller doesn't need RAM or a CPU/GPU it's just a screen with a wireless input, all proccessing is done on the Wii U it's self and just streamed to the controler.

 

It must still need something to process all that data when you step out to continue your game in a diffrent room.  I don't know too much about how the controller will do that.

the controller is not a portable system, it will only work while it's within wifi range of the console.
