What were there expectations? It is getting great word of mouth, so I think it will hold on for a while! 2.5 million to 3 million is my prediction. That should be good. This sales thing is very weird.

they expect 4m playing online by the weekend! which is a big overshoot! gears will do amazing prob 2.5m-2.8m fw but not 4m

they said 4mil playing by the weekend instead of 4mil sold specifically because they don't think it will sell 4mil. They just think 4mil accounts will have played it which includes people who rent the game, people who buy the game used, and people who have multiple accounts for their friends. For example Halo 3 has had well over 20mil people(gamertags) play the game online according to bungie's stats. Obviously it hasn't sold that well.
