Holy crap that was a long reply, sorry everyone I don't expect anyone to actually read that. I spent like 3-hours researching it and making it perfect. Again sorry, the just of the post pointed out that MH will crush Sony in Japan, but it won't benefit Nintendo is the largest markets.
Sony's largest market is the EMEAA with America in second and Japan in third. Nintendo takes Japan at the cost of support of western developers and Sony has a chance of building a stronger marketshare in EMEAA and America where they were strongest. But I conclude that if Nintendo gets the western support they did with DS, plus the support of RockStar games then they could crush Sony in EMEAA and America like they can in Japan.
But right now Vita is showing alot of promise for the west, so the battle Nintendo has to win is in the west. Not Japan which is already won!
