if this really is about defining the genres for better or worse, than god of war has absolutely no reason to be on the list. It has had no influence on its genre. This list isn't about what the best franchise is of each genre, but which one has had the most influence, and while its the most successful game in its genre, there is not one thing that god of war introduced to the hack and slash genre.
Also how the hell is resident evil not listed for survival horror. Again this isn't about which game is better, but which game defined the genre.
Finally just wondering why is halo's genre listed as sci fiction first person shooter. God of War isn't listed as mythological hack and slash.
