To be fair, that's because Sony has a clear priority in keeping all their top talent working on the PS3, and setting PSP/Vita development for lower tier teams. A strategy that packs the console lineup with goodness, but means that the handheld never gets anything truly excellent internally

Let's consider which First party studios of Sony have made games for their handhelds so far shall we

SCE Japan...check

Polypony Digital...the guys who makes their highest selling franchise...doesn't get more 'top tier' than that...check

SCE San Diego...check

Sony Bend...check

Zipper...check

SCE London..check

SCE Cambridge...check

SCE Stuido Liverpool...check

BigBig Studios..check

Guerilla games..makers behind their flagship FPS....check

Both media molecure and santa monica have had taken part in developing games for psp as well

the only one missing so far is Naughty Dog

so yeah what you just said is just full of it, no offense. and do tell, have you played games made by Bend for the psp? if you have I do not think you would have any doubt that they 'are' some of the best talent Sony has....they are just brilliant! All the Syphon Filters and Resistance game they made for the psp were top quality, some of the best games on any handheld, period.

Don't confuse the inadequacy of nintendo and their abaondonment of the Wii system with anything else. Sony have given some top quality games on both home consoles and handheld, give props where it's due, such damage control statements are unsightly
