I'd also add that the poor 3rd party support on Wii doesn't help Ninty, as Wii mainly rests on their shoulders alone. Hopefully things will change with Wii U and 3DS where 3rd parties are aboard. Then when Ninty later transitions they can do it more gracefully. |
To be fair, that's because Sony has a clear priority in keeping all their top talent working on the PS3, and setting PSP/Vita development for lower tier teams. A strategy that packs the console lineup with goodness, but means that the handheld never gets anything truly excellent internally
