It could be because the footage shown would not be representitive of the games being advertised, so they could be accused of false advertising, but I am sure they could have got around it by saying something like "also on Wii"
But I don't Ubisoft would purposefully make a bad game and fail to advertise it to try and justify not bothering with the Wii or 3DS for core games, though having said that, I believe they have already cancelled the 3DS Assassin's Creed game (the story of which was taken for Revelations I think)
