its very fun to watch these old videos of when developers talk about how awesome the old things are going to be.
Phil Harrison has hair here, and he looks young , Kaz Hirai looks even younger
Fun bits,
their talk about the Emotion engine sounds a lot like their talk about the cell
they talked about how instead of having MORE POLYGONS and increased graphics like Gran Turismo, they want to make the graphics actually mean something (which is actually most developers nowadays don't seem to get sadly)
they talk about Mocap (motion capture)
Their talk about "no controller, less buttons and voice recognition" is similar to what Eyetoy and Kinect became
They talk about Backwards compatibility
