It's available for download on the 360 and PS3. You didn't ask this and I'll probably be raped for saying this but.....I think that all of the GBA/DS Castlevanias are better than Symphony of the Night. Youtube it to see if its what you think it is before going out of your way to play it. I do recommend that you grab a PS3 or a 360 (or even a PSP) but not for SotN.
I own all the DS games but haven't played them yet. I plan on playing them in the order in which they were released. Is that a good idea? I owned a PSP before I got my Wii & DS but that thing spoils too easilly. I plan on buying the following consoles in this order within the next 3 years:
3DS by March next year
PSP soon after the 3DS
PSV 3G model after its first price cut
XBox360 with Kinect after the next price cut
WiiU at least 2 years into it's life cycle. at the very least
