The article is stupid, no doubt, but aren't you kind of generalizing a tiny bit with this statement; "Wii gamers are harder to please than the HD console gamers, who tend to fall more easily for hype and marketting glitz"?
You seem to imply that HD console gamers have poor taste and are uneducated and easily duped, which is every bit as silly as the article you're (rightly) dismissing.
Who is to say that massive campaigns won't work as well with Wii games? You always say so yourself, that Wii games never get marketed properly, this actually used to be one of your main arguments for why a lot of these games sell/sold so poorly.
Again, I agree that the article is tosh but your description of HD consoles gamers is still somewhat offensive. I still kind of get the feeling that you sometimes take things like this to a personal level where people with other tastes and likes are your enemies, or at the very least inferior.
