I understand not wanting to talk to someone when your playing a deep engaging single player, but multiplayer is completely different. When I'm with a friend(s) playing Halo or COD I want to talk to my teammates because it's a very teamwork oriented games, so communication is key. If there is an annoying kid, I can get with my other 3-4 friends I'm playing with and start a party chat to avoid such people. I guess I'm just used to talking to people when I play games so it doesn't bother me.

You don't own a PS3...

And everything you just said is possible on the PS3, for most online games I have played on the 360, party chat is blocked if you join up with friends.

And if there is an annoying kid...mute button.

The only game that has party chat blocked is MW2.

...And that's the only XBOX 360 game I have played online xD

Maybe I should switch the word "most" for "only", I thought there would be some other games that do it.

...Anyway, mute button, it works.
