1. Link??? 2. Rewind a minute. your saying that you agree with there points. which is about how you cant attack an enemy without a particular stance. i see to remember a certain game called God of War 3 where a lot of enemies cannot be hurt without the use of the Cestus weapon. so i dont understand your saying Heavenly Sword is no good because it forces you to change your weapon/stance when you encounter an enemy that blocks it. does that mean God of War 3 is also trash because it uses the same formula. it dosent make sense, how can different standards exist for 2 games? how can God of War 3 be a 10/10 game for you, yet apply the same formula as Heavenly Sword? 3. why is it DMC fans (fake DMC fans that is) - i dont consider people who like DMC2, 3 or 4 real DMC fans unless they respect the orignal game, from where the series came. (DMC1 is the true DMC game) so why are DMC fans quote things like framerate, yet dont understand what framerate actully is (a few posts back someone thought framerate means speed, i had to explain it has nothing to do with speed). 4. why are so called DMC fans saying things about Ninja Theory without backing them up??? |
Let's break this down a bit further shall we. You can't hit most enemies in Heavenly Sword until they attack you and you can only block with the proper stance. God of War doesn't have this problem, even the dudes with the onyx shields (Which you can beat without the cestus by the way), which was only God of War 3. Hell God of War 3 never forces you to use any stance, you can play through the game using the Blades of Chaos (Which get renamed in every iteration), or play with the hammer, or Artemis' broad sword, or Hade's Chains, or the Spear of Fate. God of War gives you differen't play styles and it's up to you to use. Heavenly Sword forces you to attack and block based on an enemy attack, doesn't help enemies in Heavely Sword are on auto guard and the only time you'll hit them is if they're attacking you, or glowing a certain colour... which is during their attack. Like I have no idea how Enslaved plays as I've only played the demo, but Heavenly Sword is perfect example of what not to do in a game focused on combat and I don't want them near the master piece that's Devil May Cry.
edit: thinking about this further I can't remember if you could block any attack or not. I might be mixing ideas of Heavenly Sword with Golden Axe.
