im a non-talker, but could you explain to me why i need to be able to talk to someone who is not even playing the game im playing??? Cause my friends who have 360 dont even use the feature and think its useless too.

 

Why wouldn't you? Isn't nice to be able to talk with a group of friends while playing any video-game? You have always the option to restrict the number of players in the party, or even mute the person you don't want to hear.

Hi, I'm the non-talkative type who just plays single player games. With that said, when play MP games, I always keep my mic cut and everyone else muted. Even when I played MagBeta and Uncharted 2MP, I didn't like chatting unless it was unavoidablly necessary.

Why the need to talk to people? Especially those who aren't playing the same game as you? I can understand wanting to talk to someone playing the same game as you e.g in co-op or just "banter" in versus but talking to some guy playing portal whilst you are playing COD is beyond me, becuase if I were playing a game with story or heck, a single player game like Pro Evo, I wouldn't want some random talking nonsense to me because I want to focus on my game at hand.
