Why not? By then they'll have the perfect excuse to not develop for the 3DS altogether (that is, a non-Nintendo platform will exist, aside from the persistent presence of iOS)
software sales are up, but they'll still hang them out to dry, after all the special treatment Nintendo gave them. This is why Nintendo needs to give third parties the finger once and for all, or start an ex-post-facto deal where 3rd parties have to give Nintendo 50% of their Wii revenues
