They will be out soon, but lack physical controls, so don't interest me as game devices, and they are not really PS tablets.

yeah i know,i was just alking about the digital ecosytem which could compete with itunes ecosytem

They are Sony tablets which are PlayStation Certified

one of them has dual screen though which uses touch controls

as Android is fragmenting and SONY phones and tablets are being provided qriocity as alternative to android market

No, that is literally wrong, just completely plain wrong. Android is fragmented, but Google are making progress on decreasing the problem.

that is where you don't get it.

we can't look at the picture and say everything will be the same

coming together will force indifferentiality between manufacture devices which will inturn cause a disruption

companies like samsung will feel happy but other companies will say why are we doing the work for smasung.

it will go back to separate devices after a while.

Sorry what company is going to feel like they are doing the work for Samsung? The whole point is that Google made Android as an open-soruce operating system so that people could use it, are you suggesting google is going to stop making Android? That is mad. In general, priopriatery technology is going away. Apart from Apple, people tend to co-operate on standards, and it is going to stay this way. Everyone is happy with Android, and Google's acquisition of Motorola Mobilty is most likely a defensive move to make use of their patents to protect Android as it is doing so well

Qriocity is about providing video and music on demand, something that the Android market does not do (well you can get video but only in the US)

sure but the ecosystem is building and sony will get away from android in some years time as they will go big with the ecosytem when PS4 launches and then completely form it with phones,vita,tablet,bravia,ps4.

sony has alot to lose if they keep on going with android as it has other entities.

in a few years time i predict, two main ecosytems apple and sony.

MS has a chance but the only problem is them not being a part of Hardware

Samsung will have problems forming its own ecosystem.

What Sony is trying to do with qriocity is not to get away from Android, especailly given their experimentation with Google TV which will soon be more linked with Android, as well as Android for their tablets, and Android for their phones.

There is a big difference between the operating system that you want for a phone and a games machine. The point of the games machine is to play games, so you want to minimise the amount of power that is required to run the OS in the background, and it is all about the games. For a phone, you need to be able to answer calls in the background, and it is also a personal organiser and everything else, it is not just about being able to focus on 1 thing, it is about being able to do everything, mostly at the same time. There is no reason for Sony to leave Android, as they know that on their own they can't get the same number of Apps.

The fact that HP has just dropped WebOS and Nokia are giving up on Symbian and their latest operating system, MeeGo shows that things are going to focus on Windows, Android and then iOS, so there is no way that Sony are going to move away from Android, that would just be amazingly stupid
