Metroid was not created by Shigeru Miyamoto, it was created by Gunpei Yokoi.
Anyway, I didn't like the FPS Metroid game, I was expecting big things because of the praise, but found it was very similar to Turok Dinosaur Hunter, and I don't like those kinds of games. I prefer FPS titles to be like GE007 on the N64, rather than the new Activision one.
Anyway, best Miyamoto games in my opinion? Super Mario Bros. 3 and Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.
