Never did.....my examples were all exclusives with a previous release on PS3. They are still exclusives but clearly you saw me ONLY referring to sequels under performing to a previous PS3 release. 

I just checked the 10 week totals of KZ2 and KZ3.....3 is tracking below. Infamous 2 is tracking slightly below part 1 in the same 9 week timeframe. But again....its not encouraging to see sequel sales tracking slightly lower when they should be higher if these exclusives are truly "worth buying". Nice try. 

And thanks for confirming my origional sentiment that Uncharted 2 was the sole exception. All though Uncharted 3 might just track lower, well see. 

I matched you point for point here. Sequel exclusives just underwhelm in sales. 

And your right, 360 users dont care about non Halo/Gears/Forza exclusives. But that was a given. The truth that ps3 gamers dont care about their exclusives (with ps3 sequels) is still a cleverly concealed truth. 

There is no "cleverly concealed truth" anywhere, as sequels often perform worse on any given platform (which is what any reasonable person would tell you). I'm just telling you it isn't tailored to the PS3 solely and have given examples to not only compliment the statement, but show that it isn't always a rule either - there are exceptions in any case. Take it or leave it, but that is what it is.

I knew it isn't tailored to just PS3, merely pointing it out. We had this discussion before but I am not sure what other forums you frequent but I see stuff where the majority sentiment is that PS3 exclusives just fly off the shelves and the 360 ones gather dust. Sorry again I am seeing that this place is far more reasonable to talk to. 

Sorry but your examples all tracked lower then the predecessor and the others were new IPs or had a predessor on PS2, thus disqualifying that from my point....jus saying, no offence.

The PS2 examples still apply, as they are exclusives and are sequels. You can't use Killzone 2/3 & Ratchet & Clank, but then claim God of War III, Gran Turismo 5, or Metal Gear Solid 4 "don't qualify". That would be a blatant double standard. All had PS2 predecessors, all have PS3 exclusive sequels.

Regardless, read the edited version of that post. I realize debating this with you was pointless from the beginning - because it doesn't apply at all to what you've been claiming. Uncharted 3 isn't a good example of "PS3 fans not caring for exclusives anymore".

Market share/install base of PS2 and PS3 makes that totally different. If PS3 was the #1 selling console this gen then well talk. Damn right its a double standard......cause its more reasonable to compare two games on the same console then comparing games from TWO separate gens. So no, well talk when PS3 gets GOW4 and GT6. 

Again.....the exception to the rule. Doesnt change every example I mentioned...a PS3 game with a PS3 sequel performing lower.
