Yes, didn't think much of it. But his X-men run and followed Runaways run is what concerns me and made me realise how bad he really is. He took well established characters and messed them up, delayed the publication of it and screwed their characters. He made things up that didn't make sense and didn't explain what he was doing ever, his X-men run ended with the least surprisng 'itonic' moment in comics ever. It is only recently with the fantastic work of Mike Carey and Fraction/Gillen that some of those issues have been fixed. On Runaways he took a regular monthly book and delayed it so 5 issues lasted a year, this is all so Marvel could have him on their staff. And the less said about his 'amazing' ending to Civil War, the better. |
Well I am afraid I can't really listen to someone who didn't think much of Firefly, it is the 2nd best TV series I have ever seen
Also, a quick check on wiki describes these comics that you talk of as being critically aclaimed
