It will probably end up alright in the end but frankly I don't know why, all Nintendo really does is make the same games over an over sometimes adding new innovations sometimes not, it might just because I've been gaming for awhile but they seem stale and as for the 3DS they don't even have the games they put out on every system on it yet, they were just plain dumb to expect decent 3rd party support and the 3D seems pointless on a handheld especially one with an accelerometer, but if Nintendo wants sales to pick up they have to release good game
