I do believe that a small company with a limited budget trying to release a different kind of game, of a new franchise in an unknow enviroment is as worthy of winning that a game of a know franchise that was sure to sell several millions, that had a big budget and was from a big company. I know I had more fun with those games than from Monster Hunter. |
Please, just don't kill Monster Hunter. Yes some people may have killed Dead Space and Conduit pre-maturely, but don't sink to that level. Weaken it because you don't like it, but at least kill off some lesser games.
Also I'm not sure if you believe that small budget, new IP games are worth winning more then major games. I've seen you thumb down Mad World a couple times, and how big is Platnium Games? Also a black and white murderfest game on the Wii is pretty original too, it may be reminiscent of Gears of War, but playing both games, they are completly different.
Also I'm going to be on a little vacation to a friends cottage. Can you keep track of which games have died? I asked MrT-Tar to do this formally, but I've noticed that you and gumpy_trucker are the most active voters on the Wii third party game. So can you both keep track of which games are dying, and let people know when a game dies? Thank You.
I'll be back friday night, hoep Monster Hunter is alive then too.
P.S. If you kill both Monster Hunter and Mad World, I'm coming for Muramusa. :P I'm a fair voter, and this bs is stupid.
