Yes, this point can be made, but considering that Nintendo had both the hardware and the software, it doesn't help your argument in any way.

"it doesn't help your argument in any way."

your points weren't relevant to my argument in the first place

what i have been saying : nintendo did not come up with the idea of using a motion stick for gaming

what you have been saying : but the le stick didn't get any released games

doesn't matter the point still remains that datasoft came up with the idea first which nintendo and later sony built upon

...and I've shown you that Data Soft didn't use Le Stick as a motion stick for gaming as none of their games made use of it.

... ok doesn't change the fact that datasoft made the motion wand first and nintendo copied the idea... which is my point...

You're confusing the terms invention and innovation. Nintendo didn't copy nor did they invent (which no one here is saying). They innovated this gen, more so than their competitors.

what makes kinect and move any less innovative?

Kinect is debatable, but the Move isn't exactly succesful. It's also a much closer "copy" of the Wiimote than the Wiimote was of any previously released controller. The functionality of the Move is almost exactly equal to the Wiimote, it doesn't offer much new to the table. Kinect is taking off more so than the Move it seems, but it still is only a peripheral and there are hardly any games devopled for it at the moment. Both haven't really changed the market, at least not yet. The Wii did. Therefore, the Wii is more innovative than both Kinect and Move, and Kinect is probably more innovative than Move.

Any questions?

"The functionality of the Move is almost exactly equal to the Wiimote, it doesn't offer much new to the table"

i can't say that i agree with that the move incorporates a video camera which allows for more game types to attempted like ar games heres an example

a good portion of the upcoming games for 360 are kinect games

i definitely agree that the wii is more successful but does that mean its more innovative?
