I do have a clue, of course Sonys other divisions covered the loss of ps3. They lost every cent they made off ps2 and ps1. If it was any other company besides Sony or Microsoft they would have been finished. Nintendo can't make the same discisions as Sony i.e. operate at a loss and buy loads of 1st party studios. If nintendo make a ps3 like error they would be finished. I know you might love belittling people to make yourself feel better but please it doesnt work on me. I see you do it all over this site the whole time. |
That's not the same as other divisions covering for it, more the entire company making a loss, nothing was propping up the company.
Nintendo CAN operate the same as Sony but I hope they wouldn't be as stupid as to make a $4-$7 bill loss on a console, they're usually quite savvy when it comes to making money. They made a loss on the gamecube at first, but at the end of the gen they had made more money than Sony did with the PS2, Nintendo could be a lot more 'out there' if they chose to and could get away with it.
The big big 3rd parties are in the $1 - $2 billion range, Nintendo could easily buy one of them or several smaller stuidos. Easily, they don't really work like that though.
I don't care for your asumptions on me, you're making some ridiculous senseless posts that are pretty easy to refute, you should know what you're talking about before posting, really.
