That the 3DS will finally be able to compete.
As it looked prior, the Vita would've trashed it. There is exceedingly more value in it.

Same thing people said about DS V.S. PSP.

It's  about the games, not the hardware.

Which the 3DS is yet to get, and won't get by the time Vita's out either. If Nintendo thought that the games would be there by the time Vita hits, then they wouldn't shift the price so heavily, that one is clear.

If you truly thought I didn't consider games, then lulz @ you.

Look at the 3DS release schedule, then tell me what games Vita has that will make it leapfrog 3DS and lulz @ yourself.

The problem was the price  was too high and the games that will make 3DS start to really sell are coming later this year, not that Nintendo thought the games 'wouldn't be there' (where would they go?) by the time vita launches.

I will not tell you what games Vita has, as I don't know it concretely yet. I will only tell you that what the 3DS will have is hardly enough to sell it versus a far superior device at the same price. I never said anything about Vita games, but as it looks with Sony doing everything right with Vita and Nintendo everything wrong with 3DS, I do expect the Vita to dazzle.

The price was too high, yes. When Nintendo saw Sony's head on and smart strategy with the Vita pricing, they decided to lower it so they could compete. The consumer is not a retard, and at that price, the 3DS would've gotten blitzed. They wouldn't budge had the Vita been $300, $350, or $400. But when they say saw that $250, they entered panic mode with an enormous price cut, only 5(?) months post release.

If that is not a botched release and a desperate effort to grab market by the time Vita hits, I have no idea what that is.
