I dont see it as a disaster....yet. The price drop should hugely increase 3DS sales and of course some key games are coming out for it. In addition, Wii U is just around the corner - this will be the make or break. If the wii U is successful nintendo will recover, if the wii U gets poor sales then nintendo will be in trouble.
I must admit that nintendo shareholders seem a pretty panicky bunch. all the factors (other than price) also affected sony and they also had the psn hack but while sony share price has dropped its drop is nothing near what nintendo has gone through.
