1) New models coming out.

2) Who cares

3) That goes hand-in-hand with what I said, otherwise it's irrelevant.

Wii U confidence, I'm talking about business confidence. They can trust that if they release a game on the Wii U, chances are it will sell. They can trust that the Wii U will sell in large numbers like its predecessor => large install base.

And you said it yourself in another thread, it could sell 3rd party hardcore games, even the bad ones in million numbers. Now I'm quoting you bud, I'll try to find the post. Anyways, this article isn't limited to core games I hope you realize that.

Who cares? How about DS owners? Why should they buy a 3DS when the games they liked don't get sequels. My god, sequels are the single most important thing to bring your previous audience over to the new system. And you say "who cares". I think you were actually being serious about Metroid Prime Hunters being a stellar title.

You don't have to search that post, because I know what I said. The thing is that it doesn't matter what I think about those sales numbers when third parties choose to ignore them. They don't trust the Wii U. What's most likely going to happen is that the first batch of Wii U games will be mostly late ports whose sales numbers will be used to decide over future support. Just like the Wii, the Wii U will be put in a situation where Nintendo just can't win. And if for some unforeseen reason those late ports put up respectable sales numbers, then they will get ignored in the same way as Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition.

as much as i'd like to avoid doing this . i have to agree with Rol on this one.

man i fill sick
