It more accurate than Media Create / Famitsu and less accurate than Chart-track (or the Nintendo tracking).

NPD just tracks 60% of the US market... 40% is estimated... just to compare Chart-track tracks 90% of UK market (this is super accurate).

NPD make adjustments month to month too.

Well NPD are known to make stealth adjustment so mayeb we shouldn't totally reply on every NPD that comes in. We all knwo that quartely report are the most accurate of course,  you can't argue with them.
