sorry to disappoint but they're been doing this thing since they were formed, on all platforms no exepctions.

Last two generation they weren't as bad outside of Street Fighter series.

you probably forgot about/don't know about , Devil May Cry , Monster Hunter and Resident Evil

I still don't think they were this bad, they typically had a strong gap between releases.
