| Train wreck said: I believe that many companies try to release games based on projected sales of the console. Since Nintendo 3DS figures are WELL off the mark, companies are having second thoughts about release games on the consoles. This is not 1998 where Nintendo was the only mobile game in town, many developers have multiple avenues to release games. Sound business decision to me. |
So for them waiting to either spruce it up for the PSV or dumb it down for mobile devices sounds like a better option? The sales aren't really that off the mark of the DS launch. DS didn't take off right away either. It is a piss poor decision making to me. It just seems like they don't have enough balls to release it. Anyone that thinks the 3DS will not perform decently this holiday season (especially with all the Nintendo and other 3rd party games) shows they never really had faith in Nintendo. To me they are just waiting till Nintendo release their games then they can release their game and blame Nintendo for eating their sales. Makes perfect sense to me now. 3rd party companies like to complain that their usually sub par offering isn't selling because of Nintendo. They would rather put the blame on anyone besides themselves.
