$250 for a handheld is way too much for me. Also there isn't really a title out for it that has me reconsidering yet. I have a lot of RPG's to catch up on with the DS, so I don't think I'll be getting a 3DS anytime soon. I've seen the D-pad and the battery life is just far too weak for me, so if I do get one (which I doubt), I'll wait for a redesign.

To be honest, I'd rather wait for a 9th gen handheld. Nintendo has always made their systems backward compatible, and I feel that 3D is here to stay now that I have played the 3DS.


I personally consider it somewhat unlikely that the next Ninty handheld will have both 3D and dual screen - it's quite limiting from a design perspective. So backwards compatability might not be perfect next generation.
