@ anyone who suggests EA - a large portion of their franchises, particularly sports ones, are only licensced to them on the condition that they make them for all viable platforms. If EA made a console, they would still have to make Madden games for Ninty, Sony, MS etc, or they would lose the franchise to Activision.
@ anyone who suggests Apple - that would hardly be joining, Apple already joined the "system wars" and is already successful
