So you're going to intentionally miss out on all future EA, Sony and THQ games just because you refuse to buy the new copy? And it won't be long before all companies have one-time online passes for their games. I wouldn't be shocked if MW3 had the same thing and other big games. 

Just buy the new copy son, its what you should do anyways to support the developers. 

The thing about that is I want to have the decision to support the developers, not be forced to. I never buy games used unless they aren't being sold new anymore, and this policy still ticks me off. If they want to kill off the used market they can go ahead and add incentives for buying the game new, but those incentives should not be unlocking a feature that should have never been locked in the first place. We don't know exactly how sony's pass system is going to work, but I could see it being a big hassle for anyone who likes bringing a game over to play with a friend.
