Win 8 will run on ARM chips and will support gamepads so that problem can be delt with easaly, also it's just a matter of time until someone launches a blutooth gamepad for iOS and android devices. Some tablets already offer a keboard dock and mouse support. Control won't be a major problem at home and on the go you won't want to play supper battery draining games anyway.
