My favourite Resident Evil games are the older ones, they were very scary and I enjoyed solving puzzles. The fixed camera angles worked brilliantly as well.
As much as I loved the older Resident Evil's, I loved Resident Evil 4 too. It was a lot more fast paced and although it wasn't as scary as the originals, it had its moments. Boss fights were fun as hell and they nailed the difficulty level.
I would like another games with fixed camera angles, even if that does seem dated, a game like Outbreak sounds like a great idea, those were fun games.
