The problem comes in when you have something like two siblings sharing the game (not uncommon), you want to rent the game, or you buy it used. The game is made so only one save can ever exist and only that save can ever exist. If you're playing with a brother or sister, you have to share the save and only one person ever gets to unlock a given thing. If you're renting or buying used, then you should give up any hope at actually unlocking something. Even playing online, you're at the mercy of whatever previous person already unlocked for you. Hopefully they've gone down the same progression path you might have gone down, otherwise, you're stuck with powerups you don't care about. |
Yeah, the siblings thing makes some since...I can see how that may get annoying. This is an "M" rated game though so I doubt 5 year old siblings would be sharing this game anyway.
Well...your 2nd point (Under-lined) only applies to people who buy the game used...which is the whole point of this one save per game thing anyway.
