Based on their recent behaviour, no.

And the reason for their failings in this generation is not the lack of games (although the lack of games and the failure have a common cause). It's their arrogance. Sony took everything for granted, charged too much money and cheated their customers (which resulted in them getting hacked).

Unless there are some big changes in Sony's philosophy, they won't do well next generation.

Are people still whining about Sony's arrogance? There is nothing left of Sony's arrogance from 2005/2007 period. When did Sony cheat their customers? What exactly did they do? The customers were never complaining about Sony, it was the little crybaby pirates who wanted piracy on the PS3 that complained. The PS3 hack started because a USB stick was stolen from a Sony worker that enabled to put the PS3 in a debug mode back in august 2010.

On topic: I think next generation will be the right time for Sony to be back on top. If the PS4 gets a good launch price, PS2 launched at 499 euros in Europe, so if they try to release it around that price it will be a good start.

Haha no, Sony's PR is just the same as it's always been.
