possibly. My only problem is that even today most games are still being optimized for consoles with lazily made pc ports. Once the next gen begins that will surely be even more common. Its just that not enough people are buying top of the line pc's for developers to focus on the pc. It all depends on the prices, because if I can get a $400 console that will play most games just as well as a $1000 desktop does, I'm getting the console and I'll just play any pc exclusives on low/mid settings on my now aging "gaming" pc.
