Things like this give me hope for the direction Nintendo is taking with Wii U.

I don't care how many consoles they sell. I care about the games.

And as an average gaming consumer, I would say this is all we should care about.

I'm happy to hear this news, and I can't wait to see what comes to fruition in the years to come. What is interesting is that he actually called out the Wii as being powerful, which people have been throwing into question recently. If Gabe Newel is happy with it, it must pack a nice punch.

As a consumer I care about sales becaue if it a series doesn't sell it goes away.  Some people really here have a hard time understanding this or why would anyone want Nintendo and gaming in general to sell less?

I bet you were the same people cheering in the 90's (I'm doubting if you were even born this time.) the direction comic books were going then acted all shocked when they went bankrupt.

You are correct, I wasn't born in the 90's, I was born in the 80's.

Also, please re-read what Savior posted, what I posted, and then your response. We said we didn't care much about how many consoles they sell. By default it's faily obvious the console will easily sell well enough. We said nothing about not caring for game sales. In fact, I said that what we SHOULD care about are the games. And for anyone who's aware of gaming sales in the last 20 years knows, console sales do not directly correlate into game sales.

I hate to sound rude, but you can take your elitist attitude and shove it up your ass, dude.
