That's an interesting observation, but basically yea. Halo CE was a launch title to a system which sold 24 million lifetime. 5 million sales mean 1 in 5 console owners ended up with a copy of Halo CE. if 6 million people buy Halo CEA, that's less then 1 in 10 console owners. Also I find it hard to see this game sell under 3 million. Halo is the flagship MS brand. Also this Halo has multiplayer, unlike the XB version of Halo CE.
After all, New Super Mario Bros. Wii is almost a remake of a 25 year old game, and without bundles it sold around 15 million. Anything is possible, but funny observation.

It's a direct copy of the pc version (for the mp aspect). ODST still had 3 new maps with a new story and it was made by bungie. People can't trust 343 industires yet

A couple thing I have to point out quick.
1. Halo CE was made by Bungie and everything about the single player of Halo CEA will be like Halo CE so Halo CEA is technically made by Bungie.
2. 343 studios has all the greatest minds behind the Halo franchise including Frank O'conner the mastermind behind it all and they also have some of the best talent from tons of other developers.. I would bet every cent I have (which isn't much) that if Bungie and 343 Studios went head 2 head in a Halo game making competition that 343 Studios would win easily.

Well I did some more reseach and your right. But most people don't know this. Not the 10 year old kids who scream in my mike every day. Although it is basicly the same people 343 industires is going to have to bulid some trust in people.

No lol you got it wrong...the average person like what you mention who plays Halo doesn't give a damn who made it...they just see the Halo name and give it a try.
Most of the people that play Halo games are ages 14-26 (I'm almost positive that's the average age group of Halo)
I don't think the average gamer gives a crap who made the Halo...just as long as its of good quality (look at how well Black Ops sold even though it wasn't made by Infinity Ward)
