The Water Temple devoid of fun? Rubbish.

It and the Spirit Temple are by far my favorite dungeons in the game. Ignoring the superb music and atmosphere, the latter is a great final dungeon, combining elements of nearly all the previous ones, and the former is simply meticulous its design - there is nothing redundant about its progression, and there are no secrets which are not alluded to - you just have to keep your eyes open and remember what you've seen. The changes to the interface makes this particular dungeon flow much, much better. Aonuma's exploiting his role as producer for good purposes, it seems.

Dark Link is also one of the small but potent mysteries of the game. I like subtle details surrounding the fight; the way he is born from Link's reflection, the design of the arena (featuring the only traditional Japanese architecture in the series), the way he grows more solid as he takes damage, the fact that he has as much life as Link does...

On the other hand, The Shadow Temple might be my least favorite temple. Some creative uses of the Lens of Truth notwithstanding, I find it to be it is rather dull overall. I will admit Wallmasters and I do not quite agree on everything... Still, the temple itself is surprisingly short and easy. Either way, I'm glad it is over and done with.
