Super 8 already broke even in its first week, impressive

If you take in consideration the money spent on advertising, and the budget, you get around 100M.

And not all the money go to the studio.

DOUBLE the production budget for marketing?!?!?!111

If that is true then by the end of the run it may make profit through Americas Alone which is great cus if Overseas is great then a sequel could be on the cards.

Well it doesn't have THAT big of a production budget now, does it..?

WB spent around 300M$ for Green Lantern's production + advertising.

True true $50 Million is nothing nowadays.

Green Lantern may be lucky to break even then, including worldwide if it suffers a large drop in Americas in week 2.
