they have a lot more in stock. the 360 is the deal of the day while the ps3 was the deal for 2 hours. Amazon would have a lot in stock to justify making it the deal for the day. Its too bad, if it was a flat $100 discount I would have bought it, but these giftcards won't help me save money, they will just make me buy things I would not have gotten. Shame the ps3 had such a better deal.
Also while the ps3 could have been to clear out stock since it was a flat 100$ discount, I doubt this one is it. Sony has announced a new sku. Microsoft hasn't. And amazon quite often gives $50 giftcards with most of the consoles. Upgrading that to a $100 for the deal of the day actually seems like quite the mediocre deal considering.
