The 360 Slim rebundle of E3 2010 was not known (only speculated) until that E3. Also The last PS3 price cut and Slim model came all of a sudden.

If Ms wants to be the best selling system in its fisical year, and both MS and Sony want 15 million units sold, they need a price cut. I really think it will happen considering Wii got one.

So you knew about the PS3 Slim in August 2009? How? The PS3 Slim came with minimal notice, I personally saw it on a store shelf before hearing about it online.
