For Pikmin....you can choose any Pikmin using ur fingers while its displayed on the Wii-U. As you select each Pikmin one by one by touching the screen of the controller they will fly on the big screen TV.
I think that is perfect also for Metroid games like Metroid: other M. You can use the Wii-U controller for Samus Visor scanning or choosing her weapons. On the TV screen you can see her in Third Person and as you move you can move Samus head in first person using the controller.
Zelda - First person on the Wii-u controller while using any of his weapons......and third person on the TV. As you aim with the Wii-U, the TV will provide a scenery of your actions.
Racing Game - As someone mentioned above, the Wii-U can display what is behind you.
That is some of the ideas.
Star Fox-?? So many ideas but I have to think about it.
